The talk I did last spring at TEDxOrangeCoast made it to the official TED.com website homepage today! This is a dream come true and a blessing! I am so grateful!
Ok! This is the first time ever that I stopped watching 'Dexter' to watch another video, and actually forgot about Dexter while watching it! That is one amazing accomplishment. If I ever win a Nobel Prize I'll definitely mention this video in my speech as a good example of what kind of spirit leads to do great things in this world :)
Thanks for your talk, you are an inspiration. I wrote a little about you here - http://www.caminodesantiago.me.uk/using-imagination-to-overcome-obstacles/
I watched your TED talk today... and contacted someone that you have made a huge difference too... Thank you!... I think you got them out of bed for good!
Hello Amy, I just watched your video on TED and your story is super inspirational. Thank you for sharing. I myself snowboard professionally and donated a kidney to my Dad 4 weeks ago. In a few days I will be fit enough to ride again. Super stoked for you. Keep it up!
If you are single, Just Marry me :) I'm a filmmaker from India. I went through chronic fatigue for 4 years, almost died and got back to life and im making my first indie feature. I love your fighting spirit. God Bless :)
I have acquired a new nickname after all the children in the neighborhood call me robot.I actually take it as a compliment, robots over the years seem to be universally cool. After a brush with death I lost body parts including my legs, spleen and kidneys and almost lost my life. After a long battle I gained body parts including super high-tech prosthetic legs and a new kidney with ultra filtration power from my father.I also gained a new breath of life, more gratitude and passion then ever. I'm inspired daily by life. This blog is a place for me to share my thoughts, my life and all of the things that make my heart beat!I hope you enjoy!
I just saw your video on TED and wow! Thank you for sharing. Keep up the great work and keep that board shiny side up!
